All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) is an apex body of Transporters both Cargo and Passenger) serving the industry since 1936 (86 years), representing approx. 95 lacs Truckers and approx. 50 lacs Bus & Tourist Operators.
It is a NON- POLITICAL and NOT-FOR-PROFIT organization and an umbrella body of more than 3500 Taluka, Distt., State level Federations & Transport Association.Â
About 20 crore people of our country are directly and indirectly associated with the transport trade.

AIMTC maintains a continuing liaison with the government, both at the center and states, canvassing for development of road network and other infrastructure facilities. We acquire and disseminate knowledge about various aspects of the transport industry to our members and generally among the owners and users of the transport industry to enhance the standard of transport services.
